Digital Marketing Planning | Annual Spring Cleaning of Your Digital Marketing Objectives ~ Mango Media Corporation

Monday, March 8th 2010

Everyone gets caught up in the day-to- day activities of running a business. Trade shows, seminars, client meetings, staff meeting, meetings with your lawyer, your accountant, your shareholders…But when do you have time to plan and review your company goals?

If you are like most businesses, budgeting happens every September and October. November and December are holiday months. Financial reviews occur from January through March.

In today’s digitally focused market, now is the time to schedule an annual review of your digital marketing. During the months of April and May, set up an annual review and audit of your digital marketing strategy. You may have a clean bill of health, or you may have problems to address before it’s too late.

Here are some questions that you should ask yourself:

  • What are the business goals you wish to accomplish with a digital marketing campaign?
  • What is the primary message you wish to communicate to your site visitors?
  • Are there overall leads, revenue, traffic, etc. goals tied to your site?

Digital marketing is highly trackable and goal oriented. Putting together a results-based plan is the most important aspect. You may need to consult with an expert to help guide you through the process.

At Mango, digital marketing is what we do for a living. We’re good at what we do; we have a team of in-house experts and numerous examples of how we have helped similar businesses.

April will be here in just a few weeks. Give me a call or shoot me an email, and we’ll set up a time to get together for your annual checkup.
